The Report of the Inter Departmental Conference which met to consider this subject

in the summer of 1924 was presented in Noveber 1924, but was not finally acce;bei by the Secretary of State and went out to liọng Kạng till the end of liarch 1925.

These further representations and the "Kinority Report" of the local Committee were carefully considered, but the secretary of state decided that they did not disclose any grounds for modifying the conclusions of the Inter Jepartmental Conference. The various bodies and firam who had made representations were so informed and they (and the Hong Kọng Coveriment) wäre supplied with copies of the Report of the Inter Departmental Conference at the end of March 1925.
